Mark Leigh

Mark Leigh

Senior Data Engineer & Security Specialist

A senior data engineer focused on improving the integrity, reliability and security of data platforms. Most of Mark's work starts when something isn't quite right — data that can't be trusted, pipelines that aren't behaving as expected, or systems risk that isn't fully understood. He's skilled at cutting through the noise to identify what's actually going wrong beneath the surface, and putting in place solutions that make things stable, predictable and safe.

CompTIA Security+ certified with CREST CPSA ongoing, Mark has naturally moved closer to DevSecOps and cyber-focused practices — not as a separate discipline, but as part of how platforms should be built and run, with security, control and risk considered from the outset. His most notable delivery: leading a legacy SAS-to-Google Cloud Platform migration at Swarovski within 9 months, enabling €1m in annual cost savings.
